Relire des articles de recherche en TAL / Reviewing Natural Language Processing Research

Objective:

To acquire skills for reviewing natural language processing research.

Brief description:

The tutorial will offer presentations of key elements of reviewing, including the role of peer review in scientific publishing, reviewing best practices and ethical aspects of scientific reviewing and evaluation. Practical sessions will also provide attendees with an opportunity for hands on reviewing and implicit bias training.

Language:

the tutorial will be presented in French or English, depending on the instructor.

Material and Methods:

most of the material is already available on GitHub (https://github.com/reviewingNLP/ACL2020T3material).

Target audience:

PhD students and other researchers interested in improving their reviewing skills.

Duration:

1 day (6 hours).
